What a find, Richland Railroad Diner is! It is a small, intimate restaurant that exudes an irrepressible atmosphere of cheer and community. The waitresses all are superb and provide the best service. Our coffee cups were never allowed to be emptied. The food was simple and cooked to perfection. It is restaurants like Richland Railroad Diner that have convinced my wife and I to never patronize a franchise restaurant or fast food. We would never want to miss gaining an appreciation of local culture that diners get when visiting restaurants like this! You'll love it!

This place is excellent! Food was delicious. Portions were perfect with enough to take home. Service was excellent as well. If you love down home cooking in a comfortable, quaint environment..this is the place for you! Right by the railroad..little ones would get a kick out of the seeing trains going by!

Quant little place with really good home cooked style food, and excellent service. Had the skillet and it was delicious. Coffee was great too, was some specialty brand that they also sell by the bag there. Their burgers and fries are excellent, hope to try some desserts next time. Their brisket and meatloaf is pretty awesome!

Great comfort style food with very friendly and efficient service. The atmosphere is functional and clean. Really diverse and interesting breakfast options. And, if you enjoy the roaring of trains going by, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended.

From the outside, one would not expect the gem that is inside. Small parking on both sides. Little vestibule when you walk in. Inside you'll find the friendliest staff I may have ever met. They are amazing as far as making sure your coffee is refilled, and your order is placed. The service would get more than five stars if I could. The setting is quite nice too. And the food is some of the freshest you will ever have. The eggs and toast are so flavorful. The bacon was amazing. And it was a great cup of coffee. Highly recommended if you were an area and need something to eat for breakfast lunch or dinner.

I am tempted to say RRD is not good so that it would be less crowded and I wouldn't have to wait so long to get seated. But, I have to be honest and say the little RRD in little ole Richland, PA is simply the best restaurant for the money - anywhere. And my wife and I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants over the years, all over the USA. Off the beaten path in Richland, PA lies the best little restaurant in all the land. No doubt about it. The food is fresh and scratch made with generous portions. It is amazing the variety of menu items coming out of their small kitchen. The waitresses are the sweetest gems you will ever experience. And, the prices are a great deal for excellent quality food. Thank you RRD for your wonderful service to the public.

The food and service are ALWAYS exceptional here. The building is really small and so there is little to no waiting area and all of the seats are pretty tight. This is not a place for large groups but I do believe they do take out.
